You're absolutely right Mike. I'am all for protecting the UK but what happens when innocent individuals are " wronged" .?

I have just browsed the article and I am not sure what they intend to do and how.

Your passport seems to be scanned as it is and anything else would be very hard to control.

The government has difficulty controling travel companies and there are many people and companies in travel who work outside the UK who could not / would not report to UK Border Control.

Unless it would be complusory for you to log in your information The only way any control could be put in place would be if they checked tickets and that would give limited information.

I loath Big Brother but I can also understand border controls for all sorts of reasons i.e. if a passenger on a plane arrived/departed with a contagious disease and the rest of the passengers needed to be notified.

Not only that, but also all telephone calls are now logged in a database for future reference as are all e-mails. How long before microchipping becomes compulsary ?. Far fetched, well so was "1984! and that was 50 years ago.

Because of Gordon Brown and his Labour clowns the UK is becoming more communist than Russia.

They want to control, yes control more and more aspects of our life

Does not the TRNC have very strict border controls? Are you complaining about them also?

A lot of money has left the Uk in the last few decades in the form of unbridled Foreign Travel. Maybe in future we may have to "qualify" for this pleasure!
