Went to Bo- Thai.

Not bad for TRNC, but a country mile behind Thai Restaurants found elsewhere in the world.

However not many restaurants in there are much cop.

Sorry about the negative post, but Cyprus restaurants suck.

I had a good meal in Veni Vici in Lapta just befrore leaving the island. Also had a great Kleftico in the Malpas hotel which was specially prepared by their head chef for a private party.

I certainly wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. Recently went there for first time and the "cook" obviously has no idea what thai cusine should be. If you like thai food go to the south.

I haven't been myself but know a few people who have and they all said it was excellent. The only criticism was that the portions were quite small.

The restaurant is lovely and the flavours divine. I fail to see what anyone can complain about, but each to their own I suppose.

oh forgot, the owner is like Basil Faulty - if you make any sort of complaint, he's down your throat....

Much better restaurants out there at more reasonable prices....

Don't think you can beat Sabor for price, quality of food, ambiance and quality of service......

I have to agree with cyprusharv; I was there with with him last night but at least the owner deducted the offending dish from the bill.

I think Basil Fawlty sums him up well NN.

We've eaten at Bo Thai several times and even if I was nit picking I couldn't find anything bad to say. Lovely meals and the service is good as well.

I suppose it all depends on what you regard as "thai" food and what you're used to eating. I'll leave it at that.

We have been to Bo Thai a number of times and have always had a great time - fantastic food in a wonderful building with authentic Thai furniture - it's worth going there just to enjoy the quality of the building (not to mention the loos!)

I tihnk the menu has changed in the last few months - the portions are well-balanced and I certainly never have room for a pudding (although I'm told they are delicious!)
