We are coming to Kyrenia for a month in August and wondered what people think about money exchange. Normally we bring sterling and exchange as we need it. Would it be better this year to exchange at home now whilst rate is reasonably good?

You'll generally always get more exchange for your pound when travelling to the country as foreign currencey is always sought after for trading.

Exceptions do exist, eg, the US Dollar.

Have a Nationwide flex account draw the money out of the wall when you land pay for things on your credit card which needs to be Nationwide PO or Abbey and there is no exchange penalty .The exchange rates are the commercial ones not retail so its the best going never use any other form of drawing money .Carry cash and loose it it costs you.
