A very sharp knife is needed for traditional style testicles, which get boiled, cut up and deep fried in hot oil!



For testicle pie

Wash them thoroughly for 30-45mins. once softened mince them in a mincer!!

Koc yumurtasi (Ram's testicles) are a great favourite on the island and even Lemar sells them!!!!!!!



Usually cut in half and grilled on charcoal

Cyprusraider they have got to be minced if going into a pie but remember to wash them for 30 - 45 mins first!!!!

Sunnycee like everything in life they come in all different sizes but probably small and firm better than big and baggy!!

I must admit I am shocked that there has been no imput at all from Lilli, being that Guido is a wonderful chef.

But I take it you are worried that Lilli is left in charge of the cooking and gets some inspiration from this or worse still her imigaination gets to run wild!!!!!

Now Lilli that must be a challenge to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In all innocence Lilli what can you do (cook) with balls (testicles) .

Hi Nurse well thought it all out and I dont like being introduced to my food . I wouldnt skin them first just boil them whole. However the italian way is to butterfly them, roll in flour and egg yolk. roll in breadcrumbs and flash fry for 30 to 40 seconds. Serve with crisp salad. Im told they are delicious when accompanied by a chilled glass of frascati but Im not brave enough to try. Ismet I could have practised on you . (joke) your lovely. Guido loves them done this way. flash fry for 30-40 seconds that sounds a bit raw to me!!! As you know we Scots like everything well done.



Personally speaking I would forget the Frascati and go for a bit of the old bubbly some strawberries and double cream and have them raw!!!!! (well the strawberries, cream and bubbly)xxxxx



From which animal / mammal would you recommend them!
