Unfortunately it is not on digiturk and a friend couldn't get it on Skye yesterday either. But just for info Andy Murray won and is now into the quarter finals.

My wife is watching Wimbledon on BBC 1 and 2, undisturbed (Venus Williams playing now). Via a (medium quality) wireless Internet connection you can watch it on your computer or via your computer on a normal, modern TV set.

If you don't believe it - you're welcome to check. If you believe it and you're interested: send your name and mobile phone number to hansdoeleman@allcrusades.com . I'll put you in a database and send you more information in a bulk email. It's amazingly good and not yet introduced in RoC or TRNC.

Sorry, airy_fairy, dial-up is too slow for the system I'm writing about.

I believe it is on d smart which is the turkish rival to digiturk on the d spor channel, if you have dopi they are showing wimbledon on nova 1 2 and 3, yes 3 different matches at the same time all with the bbc commentary.

Wimbledon. Live. Even in the kitchen, on her Mac iBook, she won't miss one thing from the match...

Wimbledon. (My thoughts: this Sunday it's all over! The women who make zoo-noises...).

Wimbledon. Enjoy your meal (I did it, a BBQ) - tennis wins...

Watch it for FREE on BBC on a decent 1.8m dish and an old SKY receiver - no card necessary ..

Tune into BBC News 24 - press the red interactive button - same goes for F1 .. did someone you say they were PAYING to watch it ?

Dish?! Receiver?! All you need basically in your house is an Internet connection and a computer (more is possible).

Hans, there is no-one more interested than me in your service, but if you can watch F1 or Tennis on a TV - in better quality than on a PC ...

Now you can't GET BBC1 / ITV 1 , etc on anything smaller than a 4.2m dish - so THAT makes the internet service viable.. but as the BBC sport stuff IS available....

I have Sky and have tried to get Wimbledon via BBC News 24 (channel 503) and although I can get into the news multi-screen, when I try to get into the sports multi-screen (where I presume Wimbledon would be shown) it doesn't load and I get an error message 'Interactive Service currently unavailable'. I've tried this a few times without success.

Does anybody have any suggestions?
