I not sure about a 26" lcd however you can get a 32" JVC lcd for £500.

We bought a 27" Samsung LCD in October last year for £500 and we did a lot of shopping around (Lefkosa, Guzelyurt, Girne). Bought it in Girne in the end. I'm sure you can probably get a Beko or Vestel TV cheaper and if Billy got a 32" JVC for £500 then prices are obviously coming down. Either that or he has excellent bartering skills!!

Were on offer in Carrefour end of Feb, might not be any left now though.

if you find the prices in girne a bit expensive, then you can always go donw to lefkosa which has a more wide selection and a bit cheaper, and still if you cant find some thing cheap there, you can always buy from turkish internet sites like http://www.hepsiburada.com/Department.aspx?CategoryID=155051

or http://elektronik.gittigidiyor.com/Televizyon_W0QQkatZZdt these companies are both located in turkey but deliver to north cyprus
