Wizard..have just returned from 2 weeks at TBV and thought everything was great .Never tried the Bistro as her indoors likes to do her own thing. There are great supermarkets on the way into Kyrenia and I found Supreme to be the best for selection and Quality. There is a small supermarket on the sight but they are a little pricey and do not have the selection of the other ones. There is a pub on site as well, but never went inas pubs are not my thing when I am on holiday, prefer to sit on the balcony in the sun enjoying my glass of wine.If you have a rental car you will not have any problems as they drive on the same side as us but just keep your wits about you as you get the odd Turkish driver over on holiday from the mainland with his left hand drive car and they forget to drive on the left which can be a bit scary when you are not expecting it..The "beach" is not anything to write home about. There are 6 pools to choose from and there seemed to be just a tad short of enough beds for me.

Just got back (Sat 11th July) and visited the Bistro several times.I must agree with NN chips are the best I have had on the island.

The Bistro is in a lovely setting and both Serhat & Carmel are great host's.

The site is looking good and it was sooooo hot.

We also visited the King's bar and I must recommend their fish & chip's (there are only so many kebab's I can eat in one week) and a big thankyou to Angie for fitting us in at the last minute and they were fantastic. It was great to meet up with old friends at the King's bar and as I am flying back out there on the 18th July with my family,Paul & Paula don't forget my curries on Saturday night
