berkeh2001,

I'm at the 'Lapta end' of Alsancak - near Green Petrol - and I reckon that we've just had a good half inch of rain.

There is now a tonne more water in my pool balance tank than there was 2 hours ago!

Methinks that the water gods have got it in for Lapta...

Keith.

Normally an hour's rain at some time during first 2 weeks of July. In 23 years only remember once in August, so perhaps the hour's July rain was late!!

Buckets & buckets of lovely rain in Ozankoy! Thunder and lightning in the mountains above us.

Isn't nature wonderful?

In Girne

Thunder lasted about 15 min and the rain maybe 10min at the most, not enough to drench the plants,

but it was lovely while it lasted and cleared the air for a while, please rain again

According to my records, it normally rains at the end of July, just two weeks later this year.

Got to go and water the garden now (not from Belidiye water) 4 maybe 5 spots of rain in lapta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but then we don't need the water as we get copious amounts if we pay for tankers...

How weird. Left homke a.m. thinking 'Itg looks like rain' then went to Mehmetcik where I encountered a bright sunny dAY. Returning home at 9.30p.m. couldn't make out why all the big puddles Alsancak and up the mountain. Now I know! Imissed it, butmy garden didn't.
