Vicki - well spotted.

Cannot really understand stanstill's thinking here - seems to trawl through all postings pointing out the lack of "Event" or "For Sale", etc. prefixes????

Regards.

Your right Jeannie, I have just looked at his posts and all but 3/4 are telling people off for not putting 'Event' or 'For sale' I said on another thread I didn't know we had 'Board (Bored) Police'.

Sorry metin, not ignoring you

Why did it disappear Lilli? It can't have been because it didn't say 'Event' before it otherwise most on here now would disappear.

Hiya Vicki I have no idea or explanation. I posted it on the events section 2 weeks ago and then posted on here as a gentle reminder. Anyway who is this Stan. Glad he didnt delete this one Hans has done a great job with the chess club. xx

Hi Liz - what Vicki is saying is that 'Stan' cannot delete posts, as he is not a moderator. She is, I think, trying to find out what happened to your posting. It's a mystery to me, too.

See you both in just over a week

RE msg 2, stanstill: (...) 11. Event Posts

Use "Event: " in front of the title of all event posts such as restaurants/bars holding special nights. (...)

=> Stanstill, what's the matter with you?! You keep copy/pasting rule 11 and 10 of the Board Rules and when people do it you do it again. Boring. I will send an email to the Admin team and ask them to keep an eye on you.

I suggest you have a look at your posts ( http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/show-member.asp?member=stanstill ) and wonder why you joined this board.

In plain English: go away and stay out of posts you cannot contribute anything sensible to. Thank you.

RE msg 14, backfire_starter: Why don't you publish your deep but useless thoughts on your friend's forum? This is the title of this thread: "Event (sport): Next meeting Alsancak Chess Club". Most board members understand it without an explanation. Alas, again, you're not one of them. Do your crossword in The Sun (right answers tomorrow, so don't worry) - go away and stay away, please?

Fire starter

You really are an obnoxious, odious person who seems hell bent in the character assassination of Hans (DC) for no particular reason. Did he snub you at last years Ball? I bet you cannot even play chess!

Stanstill

Are you sure there's not a 'D' missing in the middle of your code name? Point taken, but 'fire starter' seems to be systematically trying to belittle Hans for no particular reason or purpose.

I, obviously, haven't got a clue what the previous few messages translate as, but I feel I must be wrong as to who I thought 'stanstill' was.

That person would definitely not had the intelligence to post in another language - he/she can barely manage to post in English.

Sorry all - friends and foes alike - but I am starting to find stanstill quite amusing.

Yes, I know he is extremely annoying, but, and it's a big but, so long as he is not actually doing any harm and doesn't detract from the actual message, I can't help but laugh. He doesn't miss anything!!

Actually, it's because of this (the fact that he must trawl through threads day in, day out) that I'm finding it amusing.

Still with you on this one Liz!

I see what you mean Jeannie, he seems to have a little obsession reminding me of the 'Rain Man' he's not even bothered about me following him around telling him off!

God bless him.
