Does anybody know or use the Footloose Footcare shop in Alsancak which is situated in the parade of shops next to Starling. Is it chiropody or just pedicure? Who is running it? Have been there several times to enquire and the door is always locked and nobody in there.

Hi Whistler

The lady who owns this shop is a chiropodist, but they also do pedicures etc. i think at the moment it is my appointment so her number should be on the door...they will be starting a full nail service very soon.

Hi Floss

Lisa will be doing the nails, very experienced, had her own business in UK and has won many awards, she also does all types of nail art. She is in UK until the weekend and then intends to get everything ready for opening the following week. For anyone not sure where they are, its the parade of shops where Chicken Run is in Alsancak, closes to Starling and Ileli markets.

Had a treatment the the shop last week and my feet are still sore! Won't be going back, I will stick with Leah Claydon for my treatment in future.

Dee what did you have done that made your feet sore? I was thinking of going for hard skin removal but not so sure now.

When you see a shop has opened, you expect to be able to walk in and make an appointment but this one is always shut so they cannot be doing much business. I probably would have made an appointment there and then had it been open but I will not bother now. I wondered if Leah had opened a clinic there. If I have to telephone for an appointment then I may as well stick with her.

The Chiropody side of the shop has been open for two months now and is doing very nicely.

She works on an appointment only basis as this is the most productive use of time both for her and her clients-no waiting around for either side!

The lady who does the Pedicures and Manicures will be starting business on the 2nd of November and she intends to be in the shop all day, therefore, anybody wishing to call in person for appointments will be very welcome.

Went to Footloose last week, and must say this is the best footcare treatment I have received for a long time, would definitely recommend.
