x box and sky player for use in TRNC

My son says if I buy an xbox and bring it back here I can use it to download skyplayer and subscribe to his sky package as a multi room user for £9.95 a month and watch sky her. Does any of you experts no if this correct

As i understand it multirooms requires the box to be connected to a phone line.

I was chatting with my son on messenger with a video link and could see him watching sky through his x box using a router. The problem I have is, will it work here as sky player on my pc detects through the IP address that it is not in UK. My son says the x box is different. That is my query

I have spoken to my IT expert about this for you (my 15 year old son). He tells me that yes the iplayer is down loaded through IP address, however the I player will only allow a british IP and yours will be turkish and therefore will not work. If you can get an brithish IP address then he says will will def work.

I'm afraid so, although some people have posted on here about buting a british IP off a website, I'm afraid I don't know which one, but I am sure some could help you with that.
