I am not a Man Utd fan but I think Ryan Giggs is one of the few footballers that is universally respected by all supporters. A good choice and deserved recognition for an outstanding career.

there were several other worthy contenders, I think the lifetime achievement award could go to many including RG that was a good shout.... if RG hadnt have got it I guess Alex would have complained!!!
