Just had a fabulous lunch at 15 in Alsancak - Calf's Liver (2 big pieces) with Mash, Bacon and Onions - it was one the day's specials, tasted gorgeous, really succulant and well presented by the Chef Simon, and all for 14TL

Washed it down with a bottle of Pedigree Ale - wonderful, and before you ask, I am just a very satisfied customer

I will be back as the man said....

Sheila - it's almost opposite Guidos, just a bit further on towards Lapta, on the main road. Used to be called something else - possibly Chapter 1?

Tried the home made burger and it was superb, but was charged 15TL for a cola and 3 cups of black tea, just a little expensive i thought.

baldeagle - agree, does seem a bit out of proportion when liver, mash, etc. only costs 14TL?

Perhaps the Liver & Mash is a loss leader?

To understand the cost of Simons burgers, is because he uses Sirloin steak not the c**p of mass produced rubbish that passes as beef in cheap burgers

TopTen - don't think anyone was querying the cost of the burger, just the cost of the drinks.
