Could be just the job for you 'Vaughan' - mucking about with water. I am afraid that I am short of a few bob, and not keen to be a partner in anything out here (except marriage).

Hope they get someone as this used to be a fab place.

50% of the business.sounds great.what business is there .what will i spend 25k on in there?does the place need 25k spending on it to make it more attrative to the eye?didnt the place reopen late last year? it looks a nice place, who would be the other 50% business partner in the place.after running costs how long do you think it will take to see a return on 25k? why is it only a english or british working partner wanted, isnt that a little racist?or is there something special about wanting a english person there?looking at the place i think it will take around 5000 pounds a month to keep that place open with staff and electricity and chemicals for the pool, plus staff wages, life guard, cleaners, bar staff, kitchen staff,my wages, the other 50% partners wages,is it a viable business?might be better to demolish it and build 3 blocks or 3 blocks of low rise bedsits ,maybe 50 or 100 in total to rent to staff for hotels and other workers, cheap accomadation.that is what is needed here.

There could be a genuine reason behind all this, and maybe one should ring the number that Vaughan gave in message 1. It was a shame it closed, but it was closed for ages. However, the Lapta Aqua Park seems to be doing O.K. (I say 'seem' because I don 't realy know) so perhaps there is room for Catalkoy to work with the increasing number of people that end.

Really don't know. SPOT used it for a fund raising day for a couple of years.

As I say, the person to talk to is the guy who is looking for a partner. All the rest is supposition. As I say, I can'tg afford it, and am too lazy to get involved in all the stress!

lapta has more younger people so works well there, catalkoy, well i can just imagine it now, like a scene out of the film cocoon when they where all in the pool,or was it the fountain of youth?. personally i have my reservations about it as a viable business, but only my opinion.i think 25k will end up 50k by november with a sore head.

One would really want to know what debts, if any, the company is already burdened with - one's money could 'disappear like snow on a summer's day' - but, no worries: 'This is Cyprus!'

My computer haS A stutter? Never! Its the flying flingers! Too fat for the small keys, and too fast for accuracy. I type as fast as I talk and make mistakes in both!

Sorry about that!

So what I want to know is anyone going to dive into this business opportunity and make a swimming success of it?
