Does anybody know where I can buy Epson printer ink without going over 'the other side'. Somewhere in Girne? Do they open on Sunday? Many thanks.

What printer is it for? I have a load of ink cartridges (black and coloured) for an Epson C66 if that's any good? There are a couple of computer places in Lefkosa that advertise all brands of printers but I'm not vey good at giving directions!

Booitsme - It's an Epson SX200 series and uses four different cartridges, black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Need to buy a pack that contains all four. Was hoping for somewhere in Girne.

Take your cardridges into Laconic Computer next to Hur Deniz as you come into Girne - top road from East side. Went in for replacements for my printer and found out they refill your exisitng ones.

For good compatible cartridges try http://www.easyinkz.co.uk . We buy for epsom bk/c/m/y individual cartridges all 4 for £11.16 posted free to TRNC. No problems with post delivered in about 7/10 days or sooner.

This is where I get mine from and very cheap. For your printer they are only £15.95 for 9 cartridges, 2 of each colour and 3 black. If you want them I can order them for you and bring them over in 2 weeks.

I had to download a new driver as my printer suddenly stopped working. The new driver apparently includes a command which stops you using compatible inks. I've tried to get an older version of the driver but without success. Now, when I put in a compatible cartridge I get the message that it is incompatible with the Epson SX200 and that I must replace with original Epson ink. Totally teed off about it but to get the printer working I need original Epson ink. I'd like to print off this thread to keep it for the future - but my printer won't work! So can somebody point me in the right direction to get Epson original ink, please? What about that shop next to Mr Pound? Do they do it?

You can still get the genuine Epson ink from the same website, although dearer. In any case if you want me to bring it over, I can do.

I don't know. I just went online and downloaded it a couple of weeks ago. I went onto a site where people were having the same problems as me and that's where I discovered that Epson were 'blocking' compatible inks.

Just checked and I have drivers for Epson Stylus 200 from 2002 - should work as it is for a colour printer. Email me and I will send it to you as a file its only 1.6MB.
