I can second that - not that I have been in for a shave or a haircut - but in March my partner went in and had a shave and a haircut - being a former hairdresser - I watched with great interest (normally I cut his hair myself - but owing to an injury was unable to at that time). The thing that amazed me was the 'threading' - the guy put what could only be described as 'floss' between his teeth and then 'flicked' out the tiny odd remaining hairs........... rather go for waxing myself!

david9,

Does it really matter that much to you?

You ought to learn enough Turkish to get a haircut - if you can't be bothered then I guess you are one of the many who want to turn TRNC into UK in the sun!

Regards,

Ozbey.

Hi David re message 5

They have a good working knowledge of English, my Turkish is very limited but I have never found that to be a problem.

Give it a go you will really enjoy it.

Hi Ozbey re message 6

Not a very nice message achieving little or nothing.

The purpose of my starting this post was to raise awareness of this Barber Shop in order for more people to spend their money there. Should customers learn some basic Turkish phrases? that would be nice but I suggest the two Barbers are more interested in improving and increasing the number of customers by so doing they achieve more disposable income.

regards

Doug
