Hi iceman,

If you fitted a dish(appropriate size) could I bring my sky box and card(with a paid for subscription) from the uk, hook it up and receive sky tv?? I'm only holidaying there at the moment so want to bring and take home if you get me

Yes,that would be possible.

Cards are paired by SKY to work in the box they are registered to but this only applies to Premium channels.

It is also possible to use your card in another standalone skybox that is NOT paired.

You will only be receiving the basic entertainment Mix channels if you use your card in the non paired box.

Basically, this means unless you wish to watch premium channels (SKY Movies or SKY Sports) you don't even need to bring a box every time you come out.

Just keep one skybox in Cyprus and only bring out your card when you come out for a holiday.
