Hi Lixiechick

I may be wrong but I was advised recently that original turkish title land cannot be sold to non TC citizens

Doug, thats gossip and specualtion your repeating!

Turkish title can be purchased by expats as we are proof of that. We have had ptp and also have a kochan in our names.

blade, when was your PTP given to you? I believe the policy concerning Turkish titles changed some time after 2006.

'Doug, thats gossip and specualtion your repeating!'

As opposed to the rubbish repeated by some estate agents?

If thats all it is then ,is it your contention that all those who have had(or ,according to you, just saying they have had) their turkish title PTP refused are

1. deluded and their refusal was actually an acceptance,

or

2. Just plain lying.

As you are stating what dougskud is saying is incorrect ,then are you saying that all pre74 turkish PTP is treated the same as TRNC Title ptp.regardless of dates of purchase, or would that be speculative gossip.?

They have put a "go slow" on the PTP for Turkish Title until the talks are over, should not have long to wait I think.

There would appear to be some confusion with regards to Title deeds. Can we be clear we are talking about Pre 74 Turkish Title deeds?

Turkish Title deeds are simply "Esdeger" and as far as I know there is no problem with this deed. They have also been referred to as TRNC deeds but have suddenly become abbreviated to "Turkish Title Deeds"
