Does anyone know where I can get the rear windows of my car tinted.



Preferably in or around Kashiyaka / Lapta / Girne.



I have tried the DIY approach with the stick on film but it was a disaster and looked terrible.

"Hot Wheels" did all our trucks back windows and the price was good,up your way as well.

hot wheels is "more or less" opposite the ship inn. On the main road going into Kyrenia from lapta.

just to let you know, a friend of mine had it done but when she went over to the south,

they told her they were illegal. If the car had, been manufactured with the windows

tinted, that's ok, she had to have her's taken off.

Just thought I would let you know this, then again maybe you have no intentions of going

over the South.

About the tint.As a retired policeman I checked this out to see if its the same`law` as the Uk. Its illegal to have the front windshield tinted more than the original manufacturers spec. You can tint the front nearside and offside no more than light smoke but the rear and rear side windows can be black as long as it lets in 25% of light (in case anyone else was thinking of having it done)

We know all of that Cardiffan but try telling the Gc's at the Metahan crossing, I was there when they were refusing entry because of non standard tinting on cars.

only do if you have a while left on your MOT as when you do the new MOT they will fail you and you have to go back for a retest.

if new MOT i would do as makes the car cooler inside and yes i have had it done for years
