Paranoia seems about right. Pauline you said yourself on that thread that Anthony Davey had suggested the publicity was harming his case. Closing the thread was a good reason to limit talk about it. I thought that this was a sensible cause.

You, having said they wanted less publicity, have now opened another thread. I simply don't understand the logic.

You need to keep to the forum rules, are you sure that all previous posts on this subject did keep to the rules?

I only ask the question, I am no expert on rules.

Some say "rules are made to be broken", I myself don't go along with that.

we've had a very interesting comment on NCFP from "Dee" who accuses those who tried to publicise Tony's case, and then stopped when requested, of... well we're not sure what yet

There is a difference between what is a newspsper/ site like the excellent NCFP and a discussion board like Cyprus44.



We have heard from you and others that it was the wish of Anthony and others close to him that the speculation and pronouncements of outrage were doing more harm than good. We respect that and therefore the previous thread was closed. I wasn't going to close this one but have now decided to. The reason for that decision is that this thread is likely to either atract more posts that are of the gossipy nature that we have been asked to avoid or turn into a debate on the running of 44, such introspective navel gazing being restricted as a matter of policy for the sanity of all readers.
