You will be taking a dog from a NON- EU country into the EU.or visa versa ..and that is Illegal...Quarantine Regs Apply..Be carefull!

The part where it does has to comply with EU legislation .. If your dog enters via a recognised port of entry - with the correct pet passport / papers / chipped , etc, it would be 'allowed in' having been inspected by a vet ..

Simone Msg 1 - In either direction it can be fraught (maybe a lot worse) and not something that can easily or sensibly be discussed on an open forum. It might not be possible within your parameters.

You would need to be far more specific as to direction etc and where your pet is travelling from etc etc.

There might be some advice available from KAR or us at IAH but off board.

I never said you did, it was the original thread title that brought it up. My point was that you can never, ever let a question regarding the border go by without need to mention your fascinating facts on the EU and all that stuff... It just gets a bit boring when we have to get past all that nonsense every single time to answer the question posed... don't suppose you'll stop though. :(
