I will be arriving in a few days for a short stay. Is it cold enough in the evenings to need a jacket or will a cardigan suffice?

Empty Nester,

Don't worry too much about the forecast, the BBC site gets it wrong more often than not.....much as we need the rain!

Try this instead - I've found it more accurate

Enjoy your stay!

Thanks - rain at night seems to be the best solution!

Hi Paul,

Here's another site I watch occasionally - Accuweather and Kwikcast both seem to be more reliable than BBC - that's over about two years that I've been checking

http://www.qwikcast.com/cgi-bin/forecast.cgi/20474743?zip=Kyrenia&unit=c

In any case, the days are absolutely gorgeous right now, evenings a little cooler....lovely time of year!

Daytimes are now beautiful. Really pleasant. A bit cold water for swimming though.

Nightimes will be chilly.
