If anybody has any clothes with us we are closing on the Saturday 30th April, could you ring me to arrange collection if your collection date hasn't expired already. My number is 0533 839 4007.

To head off any rumours unfortunately we are having to shut as my mother in the UK has very bad dementia and I will have to spend more time there.

I would just like to thank all our loyal clients over the past years, thank you for your support.

parkview (Delia) just to say how sorry I was to hear about your Mum. Dementia is a wicked disease and you have my utmost sympathy. I feel it is worse for family members of the sufferer and I do understand your comments about thinking you were going to have a breakdown. It is also heartbreaking to see your loved ones deteriorate and, as you quite rightly say, become strangers rather than the person you knew and loved.

I wish you and your family all the very best under such difficult circumstances.

Thank you Jeannie, it has been a difficult time especially having a 4 1/2 year old as she did not understand what was happening, I will miss my business and the lovely people I got to meet.

Of course, that's why I am giving up the business to be able to spend more time with her.

parkview. I don't know you but my heart goes out to you at this most difficult time, I looked after my Mum through her illness on my own without any help as she was very independent but awkward sometimes, she only wanted me, people say she was selfish but I didn't see it like that, she was my Mum and yes you do only have one, although she didn't have dementia it was still hard. Take care.

My mum in law suffered the same illness and for years we could do nothing but watch her mind go and along with that her health (she was 87 when she finally went to sleep).

I hope you can enjoy what remaining memories she will have of you all and of course the more she sees you the more she will remember you although maybe at different stages of your life with mum B she would talk to dad B sometimes like it was 20/30/40/50 years ago really endearing to see and to hear. Everytime she saw me she told me I had lovely hair! Always made me smile and a memory I will have with me forever and it is memories that help us go on. So good luck and safe journey.

Gosh, how lovely to read such nice comments for once. Not always the case on these forums. I do not know you but I also wish you all the very best and I pray that you will cope with the situation as the needs arise. Be kind to yourself too, you will need strength. Best wishes for the future. Biggles

I went through it for years with my Mother and when she became a danger to herself and others we very reluctantly took her to a very good home, where she could be looked after 24/7. It is so very difficult when eventually they don't know who you are but you just have to try and remember the good times you had together. It's difficult to explain the heartache to people who have parents who are mentally fit and well right up to the end. My best wishes to you.

I get frustrated with this forum sometimes like I am sure most of you do but when I see the comments on here I realise there are some really good people on here who have taken time out of their busy lives to write something that really does make a difference, thank you all so much you have no idea what this means to me.

Most of the furniture has gone apart from a black winged armchair, a large cream shabby chic cabinet, a cream shabby chic coat stand and a unusual black chair, we also have some gift items left like aprons, beautiful cotton pj's for children all imported from the UK so all very unusual.

We will be open Wed and Friday this week but shut Easter Monday, open again Tues and Wednesday 10:00 - 2:00pm
