Cornaro,

Is the Malpas hotel's beach side bar and it's to be found down the road from the Malpas Hotel on the otherside of the main coast road...

Apparently the drinks are not cheap... wouldn't know

Have to agree with above - we just had drinks, it really is a lovely spot even I was impressed!!! Spoke to a couple of English ladies who were sunning themselves, they said you have to pay for the sun-beds which are very nice and the first drink is free!!!

Well, as someone who lives quite close to Cornaro, yes it does look lovely and the setting is very good BUT the noise from there on the weekends is dreadful. Sometimes its still going at 2am or even later. Even though it is within walking distance of my house, I won't give them my custom becuase they clearly have no regard for their neighbours.

Hi Kitty1,

When I last visited i did think to myself that it can't be much fun for the people who live next to it, on a night..

Just say that you are staying at the Malpas and the beds are free.Beers are 6tl for a small bottle. But the beds are on the decking,so no no sand flies.I thought it was a great spot,

Paul.

Not as nice as the newly refurbished Shayna Beach club though!!

Also would someone please take a pot shot of their awful searchlight/laser light thing that disturbs every dog in the area, including ours every weekend!! Pretty it certainly isn't all we expect next is the air raid warning!!!!!!!!!
