Considering power cuts were meant to be a thing of the past they are turning into daily occurances.

Where are you sideways? In Alsancak the power is off, according to my mate on skype. Wasn't there a power cut that affected most of the nroth coast yesterday? Coincidence? Or KibTek or the unions trying to make a point?

Free tip: when there's a power cut - read a good book. Wouldn't hurt many of the moaners on this board.

Good job half of you were not here during 80s and early 90s - power cuts every day nearly and for 6 to 10 hours - we managed then, so these cuts of one or two hours are not a big problem. If you want to have light those small gas bottles with a mantle on will light up a whole room. Now I await for all those clever dicks to start on this posting.

Rita, I actually don't mind the power cuts. It kind of reminds me of when the shilling went, when we were kids, and mum didn't have one for the meter. Bless. Now, especially evening time, I think it's quite romantic.

Thank goodness for my whistle kettle tho.
