hi can anyone recommend an english speaking doctor and contact details

is there a set charge for consultation or how does it work?

Dr Guven at The Etik Hospital in Nicosia is very good and speaks perfect English. Tel: 0533 853 2288 The advantage of going to a private hospital is that should you require tests, x rays etc, it can all be done on site.

Not sure, but I think you'll find that you need to find a doctor that specialises with your problem.

I know that hubbies' specialist charges 80tl/100tl, this last for a month's consultations and advice.

i agree with biggles, my husband and i both use Etik Hospital, we go to see Dr Guven and if it is something that he cant deal with or says you need to see someone else then all the other Drs are in the same place. We have both had operations there and the service has been excelent.

Near East University Hospital would be my choice. State of the art. There are a lot of charlatans whose treatment for any ailment is "put you on a drip"
