Hi guys,

Just wanted peoples opinions on eating out in North Cyprus. Would you eat out more if lots of different restaurants had different offers or discounts available, would that make a difference to the amount of times you ate out?

Definitely, why not? Every little helps, and then we could all possibly eat out twice a week instead of once.

Everywhere you go its always much the same on the menu. I much prefer to eat out when I go back home more variety and better quality.I feel high standards are missing in most places here.On one visit out back home for a party of five a tip of £25 was left ! I asked why so much for the tip and my son-in-law said it was well deserving of such..Well I did think of holding back £10 but they were looking..............

I think what the restaurants really need is more tourists. Not enough customers to go round the many, many restaurants and bars.

Discounts and offers do help but until the island does more to attract more tourist, you will struggle.

I don't think people want discounts - they want quality food and good service.

i have stopped going to british run restaurants or restaurants that are mainly for british people as i usually leave there still hungry, dont get me wrong,im not a big eater but some of these places give you about 5 chips. The Turkish places usually give you so much food at around the same price or sometimes cheaper,i mean, how much does it cost for spuds?
