I will try to explain this in the way that I tested to find out for myself.

I opened a 1 minute 30 second utube video at a quality of 360p (I prefer at least 720p for watching TV so it would be, I think twice the size of file), the data packet size was slightly over 9mb but we will make it 10 just for ease, this would mean that 1 hours worth of low quality video would take 400 mb and 4gb would last 10 hours, by my arithmatic, watching low quality downloaded videos on 10 gb would give you 25 hours worth of movies.

I appreciate that this is about as rough an estimate as you can possibly get but from my experience of downloading on average 1 or 2 serial shows per night and about 1 movie per week, I use up about 30gb in a month so I would suggest unlimited.

Just my thought that might help you.

I would point out that I prefer to download and at higher quality and that streaming might be much smaller file sizes but I don't know about that.

Unlimited access 4gb - built in vpn for watching uk tv - 105tl pm including vat. Not only that you will probably get far more than 4gb download speed at the moment - I am getting 9gb.

Not AGAIN.... :(

The question was about UK tv not an Arab TV service that has warned folk in Cyprus that they could have their reception rights removed at any time :(

PLENTY of ways to get a more reliable access to REAL UK TV ..

1) Satellite ( 1.8m/4.2m) recording, HD, 3D

2) a RELIABLE internet connection with a UK VPN

3) Sling player - full access to UK TV live or recorded with your own personal PVR..

4/) Free access ( no subscription) to many Eng lang content ( incl movies ) via Nilesat ( 1m dish)

moxie, my suggestion would be to go outside and have a look at the wireless antennas on the roofs of the houses around you, I would imagine that the exsiting unlimited internet users would be showing what they have learned to be the best over time. There is also the possibility of multimax which is a new company that seems to have good reports up to now. I don't know the address of it but iuf you search for it in the forum search box you might find it.

re msg 13

Redwine

Washerman is using this board to promote a service he KNOWS he cannot guarantee... ALL he has to do is post a message promising to refund any unused portion of any annual payment he receives..

He is Trappist' re this vital point ...

If I was truly 'full of it' ...and the Cyprus Star was 'correct' in telling folk that Washerman had official sanction he'd silence me instantly... the only 'noise' is stuff designed to 'try' and discredit a message he doesn't want you to hear.

In the mean time there are plenty of alternate ways to get UK tv content without the risk of financial loss..

If you stopped and thought - a bit like your 'suggestion' to Daria, yesterday

[ http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/72834.asp msg 2] - you might realise that you are addressing folk who know a LOT more than you ( being a field they DO know about) and you might learn something....
