Does anyone know what commission letting agents charge for finding tenats and dealing with teh whole process of booking and collecting money, arranging cleaner et

When i worked in an agents it was a months rent for finding a customer. Yearly fee for arranging a cleaner and paying bills etc around £400 per year.

This is not a definitive answer as each agent will quote individual rates.



Generally 12% of the gross rental income with additional charges for cleaning and changeover.



I hope this gives you some idea.

I think Amysvillas charge 20GBP perday. So of you asked for 300GBP per week half would go to them.

You then have tax, wear and tear, maintenance etc. Rip off in my opinion! A good business chance for somebody.Charge 15 - 20 % fair price.
