Friday saw Jks golf society travel to Ayios Nicholaos golf club near Famagusta over the border with 19 players ready to do battle on the astro turf greens.we were well received and the catering was excellent.a great day was had by all and well played Howard on your win.

Newscoop .the 3 iron is actually a driving iron and as you would agree a very difficult club to use,but in the right hands a very good club indeed.

The golf course is at Yesilurt which is on the Guzelyurt to Lefke road ..go through the village of Yesilurt and turn right to the Cengiz Topel Hospital and take the right filter to the course.The quickest way from bahceli is via Lekosia and take the dual carriage way to Guzelyurt.

The course is right next to the sea and has some stunning views.Green fees are 35tl for 18 holes.We have 9 greens and 17 tees.The greens are actually browns a mix of oil and sand .
