My irresponsible neighbours have more or less abandoned a family of cats that they were feeding and allowing to breed.

The mum cat has had 3 litters this year, one male remains from the first litter, one female from the second, t

there are 4 kittens ,approx 2mths old, from the last litter.

They are now constantly outside my home, and I am feeding them, and have provided them a with shelter from the cold.

I live in a small studio and have no garden, and limited income.

I am willing to continue feeding them, mostly scraps, pasta, etc but I don,t want them to continue breeding does anyone know KAR,s policy regarding neutering of strays and who I should get in touch with please.

Oh, and would anyone like a kitten.

cats are indipendent animals, stop feeding them and they'll soon find another source for feeding themselves. They are not like dogs,in fact they are uctualy more clever and craftier then us co called humans. They just simply use us.

Agree with neutering them though.

Take a look at KAR web page, and then contact the office as to how they will help with the neutering. I am sure they will help, but - talk to them .

KAR do help with neutering of cats. Contact their office (0533 8694098) to discuss it with them. They have a dedicated Cat Team who regularly go out collecting stray cats, taking them to the vet to be neutered, then returning them back to the same place. They will let you know if they can help - but the kittens need to be 5 - 6 months old before they can be neutered.
