Trough the years my wife and I gradually got used to this 'funny' British custom: "Sunday lunch". We don't do that in Holland, but it's not a bad custom at all! This year we have joined many British friends for Sunday lunch and today our friends A. and E. S. and we decided to eat "local". Dolphin in Alsancak was our choice. Good food without any humbug. And...

And...

And Dolphin offers this great fresh bread, enthusiastically baked in the Dolphin kitchen, for all to see!

Show off.

That looks like nam bread that you dip in your indian curry. How come he has got the equipment to do that in such a small restaurant.

PS... couldn't resist the comment above, after being 'told off' so many times regarding my spelling and of course my 'grammar'...

I know its just a bit of banter.

I don't think i have been to a restaurant that will make fresh bread for you on the spot.

Can assure you they do at this restaurant, and after trying to wade through all the food they bring out you, you will need to walk up the mountain paths and climb 'Buffavento' ...

On second thoughts climb the mountain first then go for the food, you wont be disappointed ...

Looks like Pide to me

it should always be freshly made on the premises.

Alan looked a bit overdone though.

The only 'problem' I have with the bread at Dolphin is that I eat far too much of it
