I have posted this on behalf of Ozankoy Muhtar, this is not my incentive, He asked me to get more people involved. I will be going along with a few friends for sure, great thing to do.

The planting event is part of the "Oaks for the Future" project. So far we have provided training in 6 schools and planted trees with the students. Ozanköy is one of the only four Aleppo Oak Woodlands. The Sunday planting event will start with brief overview of the project, a 1 km walk to see the Aleppo oaks on the Roman Road and then we will plant oak seedlings in the area which burned last year. The event will be in Turkish and English.

fantastic! I live just below the crusader path and often walk up it. I was very sad to see the devastation left by the fire and it is really good to see our muhktar involved in this project. This road is a precious part of the islands history and should be preserved. I will try to come along and help if I can.
