Went to Stevie's at Bacheli/Tatlisu for Sunday lunch today.....

Just like me Mam used to make.

The best Sunday lunch i've had in the 4 years i've been here.....

And the superb service from the manager (Jengis) was the icing on the cake.

My only disapointment, is that we aren't going there for X Mas lunch.

nay nay lads and lasses the best sunday lunch is the one yu Mam used to make. and i;, glad to say the old flange has carried on the tradition, a couple of pints down the local whilst she busy's herself in the kitchen , a return to a proper lunch with proper gravy and lots of proper yorkshire puds and a sleep in the chair afterwards.

now thats what Hippo's calls a proper sunday lunch

Efendi's House in the Turkish Quarter of Kyrenia

Lovely roast dinner usually with mash and roast potatoes

Lovely log fire - very cosy

Usually have a selection of home made desserts too - I once had the rhubarb crumble which was delicious, but not always on the menu as rhubarb is not easily available
