it has moved is now nearer the middle i think d zone opposite air berlin at least it was 3 weeks ago.

I would bet that as soon as you go through the doors to the airport, you will check the monitors, in case anything has changed, so there is no need to know, do what you will do anyway and check the montiors when you get there.

I know stansted well, however my parents travelling from wales to stansted both in their 70's havent a clue, just trying to make things easy for them

I agree, it can be very confusing if they are not used to it.

If the flight is not yet up on the departure monitor screens when they get there, there is a Servisair ticket desk in one of the check in rows, and they will be able to tell your parents where the check in will be opening, and when.

My I suggest then KARY that instead of telling them a check in desk number that may change, which will probably confuse further, or they ay stand at the worng one for an hour thinking it will open, that you suggest to them that they check the monitors that are just inside the doors, and if their flight isn't displayed at the time, not to worry as they only put then up about 2-3 hours before the flight anyway.

99 time out of 100, it is as Perry says far left as you enter the airport, and maybe they could check there first, but please tell them to check the monitors, I would hate to think of any elderly couple standing waiting in the wrong place.

Just one more thing. make sure you tell your parents when checking the monitors that the flight will be shown going to Turkey (Istanbul or Izmir if it's Pegasus) & Ercan will not be mentioned.

Further to above it is definitely normally Zone 'K' - however last Sunday had moved to Zone 'D' - not sure if this is permament or was a temporary move. As suggested check the boards for the Zone, but look for Istanbul Sabihia Gochen or Izmir

Thanks for that info. Mess. 18 Travelling next Sun. with sister and although over 70 I have never found

it difficult to find - on my own (younger sister is a different matter as she can't walk as fast!)

We flew back last Friday. I can't remember which zone it was, but we were there two hours before the flight time, and the zone was clearly marked on the screens, so we had plenty of time to get to where

we needed to be.

I have to say it was our best experience we've had at the check in by far. Lovely smiley faces to greet

us, no problem with baggage weight, and were offered free emergency door seats.

Well done Pegasus.
