I've been reading in the Sunday Times about China having supplied BT's new computer controlled network systems (it was the cheapest). Basically they could turn the country off,crippling it's computer systems including government computers, telephone, internet, water, Ministry of Defence etc. Scary, very scary.

They can switch on your webcam and listen as well without you knowing. Doesn't bother me, I'm not of interest to the Chinese but I'm sure industrial and defence secrets are at risk.

I would think that "based in..."

Means that the people who are operating or controlling the system are based or located in... China.

These people are using this system to infiltrate computers in other countries for the purpose of spying.

That's what spies do!

well i have had this little laptop for about three months now,and always said i had a little man in it,,even tell me what to do it i do things wrong..bet hes haveing a good old laugh an ME..Best get me clothes on now.!!!!
