is there a map on somebody's site that highlights all the complexes being built at the moment or are already completed. It would be good to see how many other complexes are around our own in Tatlisu and if could give an indication of the amount of people who might be in the area this year

Depends when photos taken but have a look on Google earth. It is really interesting to see the island from an aerial view.

Hi Martin - I took your suggestion and used Google Earth to zoom in on my plot in Karsiyaka.

It is easily identifiable and really fasinating to see the immediate vicinity in such clear detail from the air.

Unfortunately the Google shots must have been taken before 2007 because there is a distinct absence of property - which I know was there in April last year.

Nevertherless, well worth looking at.

I don't know how often the photographs are updated. I can see my apartment being built in Girne, so probably 2005-6. Worth having a look now and then. Makes a mockery of the living too near an army base to get PTP doesn't it?

On google earth different areas are updated at different times. In Tatlisu it must be late 2005 or early 2006 while other areas around Kyrenia are 2007. Is there an ordinary map or something like google that can be looked up to see all the new complexes.

We have started building building in Catalkoy near the football ground in February 2007. And on Google earth there is absolutely nothing there, so must be before that time for Catalkoy region.

I think Google earth is the only aerial type photo that will (eventually) show an accurate picture of the island. Accurate Up to date maps seem no where to be found.
