hi all been visiting my mum in nc for the past three years and will be over in 7 weeks and cant wait.

question is i allways try and book my flights early with kthy but for some reason this year i tried booking from h/row in jan online but all flights i wanted were fully booked so have to go from stanstead even my flights for august were fully booked.

when is the best time to book the flights i want (due to school hols)???

did look into flying to larnaca but just as expensive.

about time bristol done flights to nc as i am only 20 mins down the rd.

ps whats the temp over there atm.

Welcome, especially to another Southern Softie (We are originally from Bristol). We normally book our flights through Ankara Travel these days but previously used to use Green Island Holidays. Have you tried looking at Birmingham. CTA only fly out/in on a Monday but it is another option and much nearer than Stansted.

Ive just returned from N Cyprus and asked how everyone else found flights and where was best. As Orangekazzie says, Ankara Travel featured highly. I visited their offices in Girne. Contact details are: 00 90 392 815 2193. ankaratravelagency@hotmail.com They speak English and the name on the card I collected is Radiye Oday. Worth an email.

i used to use green island but found it cheaper to go direct to kthy.

must admit never looked at birmingham.

got used to the heathrow drive and allways got there in 1hr 30 and made it less stressfull knowing where i am going.

i will now get more "are we there yet" from the kids going to stanstead lol.
