We have a TRNC registered vehicle. Is it OK to take the vehicle on tour around Europe? If OK has anyone had the experience

I seem to remember reading on the forum a while ago of someone who had problems in Bulgaria as the number plate wasn't recognised, I am sure someone will speak up on here soon on the subject matter, sorry can't be of more help.

As TRNC is not recognised you dont have to worry about parking fines/speed cameras your on a winner.

Hi running man, I am the one, Mindy is talking about. The only places you can visit are turkey and the south. I was lucky as my vehicle was from the UK and I had my UK papers and plates with me, which they let me change and pass through the border. TRNC plates are not recognised outside this island other than turkey.

That was my experience just over a year ago, they would not let me cross from Turkey into Bulgaria, with my TRNC plates on & had to get my UK plates back on in order to cross. Good luck with your travels
