Before soldiers die and after they have died priest(s) will say that "the Lord is/was on their side". In between the priests bless guns and cannon. Some "men of God" out there must be lying - but where? Or all of 'em?

Religion and banks...... the world would be a better place without either. All liers and deceivers. (and lawyers).

All priests should be forced to read 'The God Delusion' and all bankers should have an enforced holiday in the slums of Calcutta.

DC an d JETSKI you have started me off. Very nice to meet people who have given this matter some THOUGHT. This subject goes very deep indeed and more and more people are looking for an alternative to organised religion,(christianity and islamic).



There are a growing number of people turning towards Paganism which is now a religion recognised by the U.K. There are many branches of this religion which neither promises heaven or threatens hell, but shows how all of us can live together in peace.



The Pagan creed is quite simple-----DO WHAT YOU WILL AND IT HARMS NO ONE-----



I could go on for hours, but I fear I would be boring.



As a matter of interest, the first 'official' paganist I ever heard of was the very public appointment of a paganist midwife at Truro City Hospital about 25 years ago.

Indeed - some fine minds are moving this way. One of my neices is a clinical psychologist and a practising pagan!
