hi all , another hot and sticky day to come in glorious tring , having trouble cooling down , my ears are not big enough to regulate my temperature so am suffering a bit , wish i could jump in our pool in nc { well actually i meant slide in , i can't swim } having to resort to sharing my grandaughters paddling pool much to her disgust , well ! my son is going back to barcelona today and our b'day celebrations are now over , at last , thank god ! could'nt have kept it up for much longer , seeing spiders everywhere { only jesting } i hope you all had a great w/e and will have an easy week to come

Hi Pat - we were in Tring on Saturday - gave you a wave (even though I dont know where you live!!). Have to say I am struggling with the heat, although wasnt well yesterday (and no it wasnt a hangover - food poisoning!!!). Guess I ought to get used to this heat because it will be even hotter next week in TRNC!!!!

Actual it isn't sticky here at all at the moment. Hot and sunny but with a lovely cooling breeze.

hi patrick , yeh it went well eventually , the briqettes we bought were useless so it took ages to cook the food , but it did'nt matter , and after knocking back the punch i don't remember much anyway , i will organise another one soon so that you and linda can come

Hi puppylover , unfortunatley we don't need an excuse to party , but its taking longer getting over it , what's the saying growing old is inevitable , growing up is optional i dare say i do really need to think about growing up , it's about time !!

Hi all, it really is lovely and I have my 50 factor on. I was in Hertfordshire yesterday at car boot sales. I just cannot resist them at this time of year. Soon I will lhave bought enough to have my own sale!Take care and dont get burnt. I am off to collect one of my sons from the dentist, he's had to be sedated as they just could put his cracked tooth out and this was the only option, I will have to play florence nightingale for the rest of the day.
