here is a great efendi recipe for fresh figs which are now in season

stuff the fig with brie cheese wrap in pancetta bacon and top with balsmic and butter

bake in the oven until bacon is crispy then deglaze the pan with more butter

a tiny drop of mustard preferably dijon, and some reduced balsamic vinegar

spoon this sauce over the baked figs enjoy

sweet dessert wine from nominated region



don't larf it's bloody good



three ninetynine, and fifteen proof



good accompaniment methinks



only problem is the figs and wine are at opposite ends of europe
