For those people out there interested in watching Line Dancing (I know it's not everyones "cup of tea"), Phoenix Line Dance Club will be performing a short programme on Tuesday evening (5th October) at 8.30pm (Cyprus time!)

Hi Matt

im not great at giving directions but seeing i started the topic i thought id try and help but if anyone can give better directions please do.

If you go to the other side of Girne, pass the Jasmine hotel and follow that road. when you get to the Ship Hotel turn towards the mountains ,then follow that road.i think there are signposts, but its not too far from behind the Ship. good luck.

Although you could go that way, it's a long way round, and there are various junctions where you could get lost. From the Catalkoy side of Girne, take a left at the Pia Bella roundabout, heading in the Lefkosa direction. Continue as if going to Lapta. When you hit the "fountain" roundabout, take a left and follow the road. There should be a large sign for Templos (the original name). Just keep on that road for 4 or 5 miles and you'll be in the village.

Have a look at the programme, though, as not all events are in the village itself.

Really easy now to find your way to the festival from the new by-pass - from Girne, turn left at the traffic lights just the King's Pin Bowling Centre and follow the signs.

Oops! I meant turn right at the traffic lights if you are coming from Girne.
