http://www.financialmirror.com/Columnist/COMMENT/695 Data from the credit card company JCC Payment Systems Ltd show that spending in the “occupied areas and Attaleia” (Antalya), using plastic cards issued in the Greek Cypriot part of the island, rose by 24.8% over the year earlier in September. Total expenditure in that month rose by EUR 154,866 to EUR 779,477, compared with EUR 624,622 in September 2009. how much do ex pats contribute monthly ,,,,,,,excluding rent and utility bills ....(g/cs canot reside) does anyone have a guess...

I very much doubt it. We spend somewhere in the region of 100TL a day. That excludes going out for meals/drinks etc.

apc10 in message 1 you asked, excluding rent utility bills. We don't rent but have to pay utility bills etc, if I include utility bills we are paying closer to 200tl a week. If you include the money we spend on other things it's getting closer to 1000tl a week into the local economy. Can I ask you a personal question? Do you put that much money into the local economy a week?

Most Brits spend cash and therefore it would be difficult to get a true comparitive.
