I use it too with no problems. It doesn't work with the National Lottery though. They must be able to override/detect it in some way.

expatshield

nothing 'wrong' unless you want 'intelligent ads pushed at you... as it learns where you are where you go..... ;)

It's a VPN.. and not a very good one ( UK sites realise that hundreds of folk arriving at their sites with the same range of IPs can only mean a VPN and can block it) with the added bonus of 'spyware'...

That said.. there's nought wrong with a few ads.. expatshield just need to keep updating their UK end IPs so as the users get a better UK experience without being 'twigged' as using a VPN..

It's 'success' is actually it's downfall... !

As I said in the other post - no problems here! Also used the us version hotspot shield for years with no issues at all!!

I use IE so wouldn't have a clue if Google Chrome is the issue - tried Chrome once and didn't like it, so reverted back to IE.

You seem like a real prat, you seem to criticise everything and anything that's written on this forum, if people want to use these type of programs let them, and without your verbal abusive comments , why do you always get up peoples nose, so you are in IT "so what " ? so StGeorgeI let out a small mistake about chrome and IE big deal, we knew what he meant, but a smart ass like you wouldn't let it go, You should think before you write anything down and try to be more constructive and helpful on this forum instead of being the opposite.

>>You seem like a real prat,<<

everyone is entitled to an opinion..

>>you seem to criticise everything and anything that's written on this forum<<

'slight' exaggeration, there .. Unlike you, I DO know about things TV / Satellite and PCs...

YOU were the one advising folk to d/load a program that installs spyware, hen there's a least two of us happy to give our VPNs for nought.. without having unwanted bloomin' adverts thrust upon us ..

The irony of your 'criticising' StGeorge1 was a small inaccuracy - when you need to check your own posts for same is not lost on me - or some of the folk I've helped- for nought - over a long time on here..

I'm not changing my 'style' 'coz you get upset that 'your' free idea has been found to upset some folks with the unwanted adverts..

I AM a smart ass - that seems to be your 'problem' and I'm not 'sorry' ...

ZC, I'm very pleased to hear that filmon is 'working' for you.. just don't get to rely on it..

In the mean time those with those 'ugly' dishes get a better picture, more reliable feed, more channels, and can record a 'little' more than 4 hours of TV.. [ well ok, a lot more - a wholes series if they want]

They can even watch one thing whilst recording another..

Those without a dish have the option of a free VPN or installing software that includes spyware..

mark.

As you know from my post going back over a year, ive used filmon for well over a year, and no complaints as yet.

Again i have the right tools to watch filmon,so i cannot grumble.

The way i see it is like this, filmon can only get better and better with tecnology that is out there now.

They have invested millions into this product,so i do feel they are here for the long haul.

They are ahead of the pack with filmon, streaming live tv to your phone if you wish it there, you must have the right phone.

Im sure if you could offer something like this product for such little money, you would be screaming it from the rooftops.

Most people already have the aparatus to receive filmon,so no need to go out and buy more expensive gadgets, and no more bird perches joined to there homes(sat dish)

So those are just a couple of the advantages of filmon at the moment.

Dear ZC, perhaps you missed the bit that the GC owner has Holywood on his back for breach of copyright, and his own website was pulled.. he is well-known as a prankster and my comment that I wouldn't rely on filmon was because of that.

yes he is a known prankster, but investing millions into a product is not a prank.

Also add some of the other investment that has been secured,is it around 50 million?

It does not matter if a GC.TC.BBC.ITV.C4

We all bleed the same colour.

Im just happy i can watch some ok TV when i wish, and to a good standard.

Message 12 mmmmmm

I do know a lot about PCs I have been programing since 1979, Cad Cam, AutoCad, Hitashi and Mori Seiki conversational programing, Caps, Mazatrol conversational programing, and yes I started with dos like so many other guys, and as far as Satellite goes no I don't know a lot, but it's not hard to set up a dish and point it in the right direction you just hook up the satalite finder, check the Azimuth and Elevation set your LNB polarization tilt this is marked in degrees, just google for the information, and TVs no I know nothing about TVs I'm not a technician I couldn't fix one if it was broken, to set them up yes I know how to. it's not rocket science, Home theatres, overhead projectors, 7.1 suround sound, most people could do this, but I must admit I enjoy reading your posts you can be full of information or talk a load of crap, but thats life.
