went with friend who has been before they do good steaks here he says , so off we go his treat for favours done. We were the only ones there (it was early) . The steaks must have taken much more than half hour to arrive, we were given some toast and butter just prior to the meal arrving so we sat with nothing for ages. The steaks were sorry not good at all very very tough we were unable to eat them,Our friend called over the waiter to explain that the steaks were very bad and he just stood and looked at our plates then walked away, we asked for the bill it was presented as if there was nothing wrong at all no sorry have a meal on us can we offer you free brandy,coffee etc the bill was paid in full although we did say not too but our friend didnt want to make a fuss, I wonder how long this restaurnat will last with this attitude?? has any one else had the same problems there.??

Not at all. Have been lots of times and have always had very nice food and love their T bone steaks which are always really good. Perhaps you just went on abad day.

The staff are normally very friendly as well!

agree with twaddle been a few times and allways had great meal ....infact go there just for steaks and can cut it with a spoon



im supirsed as the owner also does cooking and a really nice guy.



it can be quiet early on ,but never has the quality suffered when its very busy



i would go back and see the owner ,think he is has worked london restraunts as his english "cockney " very good,

I've been going since it was Cano's and then to Green Palace, and in 3 years i only ever had 1 bad meal, but as it was a delivery, the next time was free! I don't understand how you got a bad steak, his brother down the road is the butcher!!



Anyway, i implore you to go again, and have a chat with the owner....

ALLWAYS had a good meal there both a Canos & Green Palace,went early once and had to wait a while but it was worth it ( give them a ring and he will sort it out )
