Hello Bonnah

The information you have got regards North Cyprus is so very true, my husband and I have been to Cyprus a few times on holiday but always to the south of Cyprus which is also very beautiful.

But last time we went back we decided to try the North it totally took my breath away so much so that we are hoping to move out there. If you do get to see the North of Cyprus I don't think you will be disappointed at all and the people are fantastic. As for getting there I am sure that a good travel agency would make all those arrangements for you.

Hi Desert Rose

Maybe its not, but come on, Bonnah tells us he is in business surely he doesn't need to ask such a Duh!! question. We all know that Mega Bus don't do summer saver specials from Nigeria to Cyprus, he could of course go to the CTA website to see if there are flights from Lagos to Ercan which might be the case now that CTA have decided to dump both Belfast and Glasgow from their schedule.

I'm afraid I too get suspicious when I read nicey nicey postings from dubious parts of the world. I get the feeling that Bonnah could either be a really nice goat farmer who has just found a computer or he is Gary Robbs new business partner.

My wife and I were very much like you, visiting the holiday resorts of Souh Cyprus for years then in Sept 2003 crossed the border and drove North.

It was my wife's first visit North, for me I had worked for the UN for 3 years in early 80's so know the Island quite well.

We have now completed our build in Esentepe and are delighted, feels like home, yet when I cross to the South feels like I'm on holiday.

All being well hope to relocate there in couple of years time, love it that much.

Hope if you decide to buy or build you also have a positive result.

sounds as though you're from my part of the world! Love newkie broon! We too are buying in TRNC on the outskirts of Catalcoy. You're right - we fell in love with the country when we first saw it in 2005 and can't wait to eventually live there permanently. Our builder is Okut - they have been brilliant, helpful and friendly.
