Miserable Brits like to moan about the rubbish weather, their finances and what is on the telly. Brits also like moaning about how expensive things are, the government and the never ending list of household chores.

Most expats (fact: most of them are British) have too little interest in their host country. Read the "subjects" on this C44 board. Why moan about the best part of the world to live in (possible exception: when you can't afford the Bahamas)? Harita...You were not the only one who lost savings,the only difference is I have got over my loss and I am getting on with my life,plus I dont have to worry about how am I going to pay for my madical care,transportation costs, etc. these are more important to me than a bit bof hot sun that does not do you any good at all. As for the heating allowance it is well publicised my feelings on that subject so enjoy your life in the TRNC and bye for now...

It's the people who have lost their life savings I feel sorry for ..
