would someone kindly provide some information regarding the open market that takes place here please. Is it every Saturday?



How can we reserve a space? Rules & restrictions etc...

Hi, yes it's every Saturday and you need to call Ian on 05338730301 to book a table. Depending on how much you are bringing to sell, and how long it will take you to set it all up, sellers generally arrive between 7.30 to 8.30. I don't know where you live, but if it's west of Girne, then the other good market is on Sundays which is the traditional car boot market, which is held behind the Pine Bay Hotel. You need to call Mo on 0533 8450274. Mo's husband Arif, has the barbeque going all morning cooking bacon butties, hamburgers etc. which are delicious.Tables are supplied at both places. Lamboussa is a much bigger market, but Mo's market is growing every week, and is very friendly. Everyone is made to feel very welcome.
