First off all hello to you all, I am not new to Cyprus been here for 20 years!

Always log onto cyprus44 but never, so I thought I should give it ago

Was reading in the paper today that there might be a referandum in the next couple of months.

Has anyone heard of anything like this?

Also heard the military law is soon to be changed, is this true?

Thanks

Ah! What is truth? what you read/heard could be true, or it could all change tomorrow. Just follow the thinking and the other writings to see whether it all happens. But don't confuse 'peace' with 'answers'. We have peace, we don't have a solution. But if UN really pull out and Ban Ki Moon is listened to, then 2012 could be a crucial year.

what do others think?

ditto 2004,2005,2006,2007,----------2015,2016.

Extremely difficult for any way forward. Too many people on both sides making a living out of the tragedy.

In my opinion the UN should have moved out along time ago, very costly keeping them here...

They could be alot more useful being deployed in countries which really need them.
